Welcome to ULYSSES acoustic design program.
ULYSSES is intended to be a very fast, precise and easy to use acoustical design tool.
It features true 3-D CAD-based calculation, simulation and design routines for room acoustics
and sound systems.
Especially the graphic generating and editing abilities of Ulysses will help you to handle your
projects at maximum speed, efficiency and convenience.
Installation, Reinstallation and Update
If you are installing ULYSSES for the first time you should create a directory on your hard disk.
In our example it would then read:
C:\ULYSSES
Now copy the u240e.exe file to the designated directory.
By executing u240e.exe the ULYSSES files will be decompressed and written to your directory.
The u240e.exe should be moved to another directory for back-up purpose.
The ude_240e.exe can now be installed using a Windows Program-Manager (file new), an icon is
included in the ude_240e.exe module.
ULYSSES may now be run clicking at the ULYSSES icon.
The program modules uab_240e.exe, usb_240e.exe and uv_240e.exe can be installed in a similar manner.

which is accessible from the ULYSSES Design Engine Menu (ude_240.exe).
In order to use ULYSSES 2.41e there is no new licence necessary. If version 1.38 or older was used before,
a new licence is necessary. The new licence is for licensee
free of charge. Just contact our office.
Due to the change into 32 bit (since version 2.30) there is a conversion of your speakerbase necessary. Therefor start
the usb_240e.exe. Open the speakerbase. It will be converted and saved automaticly (see message on screen).
This procedure also imports speakerdrawings (*.scf) as soon as they are available in the same path
(*.usb and corresponding *.scf in same path). The separate scf-files will be deleted.
