How do I update the software?

- If you have version 7.0 or later software installed, the update procedure is as follows:

Two files have to be downloaded: casedisk1.zip and casedisk2.zip.

Download and unzip casedisk1.zip to a floppy and label it 'install disk 1'
Download and unzip casedisk2.zip to a floppy and label it 'install disk 2'
Both floppies hold now the installation files.
Switch on the Martin Case controller and press (for 2 seconds) [SHIFT] + [SETUP].
When the controller is started up, insert 'install disk 1' into the floppy drive and select from the menu: Update - Program Update.
The installation will be started from the floppy disk. Follow the instructions on the screen. After the update, the controller will restart and version 7.30 should be installed.

How do I update the fixture library?

Download LIBS.ZIP (libs basic). Copy the zip file to a blank formatted floppy disk. (Do not unzip the file.)
Download LIBS.ZIP (libs expanded). Copy the zip file to a blank formatted floppy disk. (Do not unzip the file.)

Note: If the 2 files LIBS.ZIP are downloaded first to a folder at the download computer, use 2 different folders, since

both files (the basic libs and the expanded libs) use the same filename.

Turn on the controller and exit the program by pressing SHIFT and SETUP for a few seconds.
Insert the floppy with the Basic libraries in the Case disk drive.
From the pop-up menu, select "Update/New Libraries" using the arrow keys of the PC keyboard and then press "Enter."
Insert the floppy with the Expanded libraries in the Case disk drive.
From the pop-up menu, select "Update/New Libraries" using the arrow keys of the PC keyboard and then press "Enter."
Go back to the "Start" option in the menu and select it.
