The club’s latest additions may not help the club’s results on the field but above the stadium performance has certainly improved. The club has namely added 37 high quality Mach speakers to the line-up.

A series of Mach speakers are flown from the stadium’s overhanging roof, some 100 feet above the crowd. The top quality speaker system provides powerful yet clear sound to the entire stadium.

The sound equipment was installed by Leicester Sound & Lighting and includes 10 Mach M154i and 17 M156i medium throw top boxes and 10 M125i near field top boxes from the Mach Installation Series. The new speaker system adds a high quality ambiance to the historic stadium and is used for music, announcements and player introductions.

The 21,500 capactiy stadium on Filbert Street, located in Leicestershire in the Midlands, is packed to capacity for every match. The stuadium will soon see its last match however as the club is planning on moving to a new stadium next year. The Mach speakers will be making the move as well.
