Finnish furniture fair...

September 05, 2000

Who says furniture has to be boring. It’s all a matter of imagination.

One of the largest furniture fairs in Finland took place recently in Helsinki with an accompanying, unique dance and light show. In the evening, after the show, the Finnish Hot Club dance company performed unique dance numbers incorporating the furniture into the show itself.

The lighting setup consisted of 10 RoboScan 518mkIIs, 10 RoboColor Pro 400s back wall and drape illumination and 12 Destroyers pointed toward the roof. Four Magnum 2000 smoke machines were also incorporated into the show as were par cans and other conventional lights. All lighting was controlled via a Martin LightJockey and Pulsar Masterpiece.

All Martin units were supplied by Sahkoagentti with lighting design by Timo Saarinen.
