Uninstall the previous Maxxyz PC
software before installing the update.

Maxxyz PC DEMO
When started in demo mode the Universal USB DMX can
be used to send Universes 1 and 2.
The Universe # can be configured in the Maxxyz Application in
Menu/System/DMX Settings.

MaxxyzPC requirements:
- Windows XP (Home or Pro) with SP2 http://www.microsoft.com/downloads
- Pentium3 1.2 GHZ (Pentium4 recommended)
- 512MB RAM (1024MB RAM recommended)
- 250MB available hard drive space
- Display with min. 1024x768 resolution
- USB 1.1 port or CDROM drive for installation and
updates
- USB 1.1 port for HASP dongle
- USB 1.1 port for each Universal USB-DMX device
- 10/100 Ethernet port for Artnet output
- FULL administrator access to your PC. If the PC is
part of a corporate domain it may not be possible to install MaxxyzPC
as it will add components to your system that may not be allowed based
on your group policy. Check with your network administrator if you have
any questions regarding your group policy settings.
- Running XP Services required (usually those are all
properly set by default)

If you experience problems with the installation use
Start/Control Panel/Administrative Tools/Services
and set those entries to "automatic" and start them if necessary
MaxxyzPC application notes:
- HOLD down a button on the interface by
right-clicking. Don't forget to un-press the button otherwise all
functions on the console will be executed with the button pressed (e.g.
SNAP pressed down disables all cue timings)
- Maximize a control area (Playback, Keypad, Encoders)
by right clicking on it's black surface.
- Launch the Maxxyz Visualizer in MENU to use the same
demo file as the console and manual.
- Add a playback module in the MENU and set it's ID on
the interface.
- A "Maxxyz" folder is added to the "My Documents"
folder during the installation. It contains the default training file
that is referenced in the manual.
Use this folder for storing your own Maxxyz show files.
- For Artnet Output set your Ethernet port to
IP 2.1.128.1
