The Exterior 1200 Image Projector provides drama with illuminated textures and animated effects such as reflected water, ripples, flames, clouds, rain and snow. The animation wheel provides flowing effects, and can be used together with the gobos and colors.

Limitless choice of colors
The Exterior 1200 offers endless creative possibilities. With full colour mixing, the CMY system blends the primary colours Cyan, Magenta and Yellow to achieve a full spectrum of luminous colours. These colours, variable in hue and saturation, can be programmed to shift smoothly from shade to shade to create truly dynamic architecture. Further colour options are also provided on a four-colour wheel, with the primary colours red, green, and blue, and open (white).

High performance optics
With high optical clarity and performance with uniform distribution of light and color, a full range of optical systems from spot to flood allows for accurate and even illumination of large surfaces. Ellipsoidal beam shapers and other optical accessories, such as barn doors, provide optical control for pin-point illumination of columns, pylons and very tall structures.

Uses standard D-sized gobos
The Exterior 1200 IP comes with three gobos pre-installed plus open and uses standard D-sized gobos. The installed gobos provide organic and defocused effects, add structure to walls, and offer geometric or sharply-focused images. Add your own gobos for projection of a specific logo, image or message.

Dynamic zoom
Three optional zoom kits provide designers with the possibility of varying beam angles (cut-off angles) from12° to 18° (narrow), 18° to 36° (medium) or 31° to 51° (wide). Exterior 1200 Exterior IP has a motorized zoom and focus and offers the flexibility of re-focusing on-site in order to achieve a perfect distribution of light and color and optimize image projection.

0-100% intensity control
The ability to dim metal halide is appreciated by designers who want balance of brightness or the ability to allow structures and landscapes to respond intelligently to the availability of natural light. The mechanical dimmer/shutter ensures 0 - 100% variable dimming and instant open and blackout.

Heat exchanger cooling
By applying the fundamental laws of heat exchange used in the automotive and other industries, the Exterior 1200 operates in the hottest environments while remaining fully sealed with an ingress protection rating of 65 (IP65). Sealed air is circulated through a heat exchanger and cooled, ensuring safe operating temperatures while keeping dust and pollutants out.

Display and control
An on-board LCD display allows diagnosis of service factors such as lamp life and other critical information. Manual control and addressing can also be performed through the display without the need for other peripheral devices. DMX controllable from an external controller or PC software, the Exterior 1200 can also operate via a built-in program or master/slave relationship.

Easy installation & optical aiming
A fully adjustable bracket allows the luminaire to be mounted and aimed from any position. This is simply achieved by positioning the yoke anywhere along the casing, ensuring that whatever angle the projector is adjusted to, the head is in perfect balance. Four detachable eyebolts are included to aid with lifting and installation.

Quick re-lamping
A convenient slide-out lamp assembly provides easy access for quick re-lamping.

Weatherproofing
The IP65 design guarantees reliable operation in harsh, weather-beaten environments. An efficient cooling system ensures the luminaire is reliable in even the hottest climates. It is also suitable for marine and saline environments such as cruise ships and bridges and has been wind-load tested; an important factor for tower installations.
