Reacting on input from industry lighting designers and architectural lighting specialists, Martin has incorporated a 150 watt source into its new, smaller exterior housing. The Exterior 200 is a conveniently compact and powerful 150 W, short throw, CMY color changer in a beautifully designed weatherproof housing.

Designed for outdoor use, its asymmetrical wide throw flood beam makes it perfect for applications where projection distance is limited. Extremely versatile and housing a long life 6000 hour lamp, the Exterior 200 can be tucked discreetly into architectural design details of buildings or any other illumination structure.

A built-in light sensor, memory presets and DMX controllability add to its independent functionality. And an IP 65 rating means the Exterior 200 can withstand even the toughest outdoor conditions.

CMY Color Mixing
A smooth and uniform color mixer uses the three colors - cyan, magenta and yellow - to generate virtually unlimited shades and color choices. Martin’s system software offers flexible color programming as well as a wide variety of color presets allowing for creative and simple color composition.

Asymmetrical Beam Characteristics
The asymmetrical beam characteristics of the Exterior 200 allow it to be placed close to architectural projection surfaces. The field angle is 70o and optional beam angles are easily interchangeable, making for an extremely versatile color changer. Color temperature is extremely stable throughout the lamp’s life.

Beam Shaping
The beam shaping function dynamically changes the round light beam into a rotating elliptical beam for easier coverage of architectural forms, illumination of hard-to-get-at corners or subtle illumination of architectural details with pinpoint accuracy. The adjusted beam provides precise building illumination with minimal loss of beam intensity.
