Le Bourget Alight at French Lingerie Trade Show

January 31, 2002

The fashion scene’s increasing interest in intelligent lighting, sound systems and computer programming is redefining the role of the fashion choreographer and affording art directors an exciting new experience.

French hosiery specialists Le Bourget called upon the expertise of Martin France’s own theater consultant Damien Pascal for their stand at the Paris lingerie trade show. In a bid to create maximum exposure for Le Bourget’s latest collections, Pascal used his sense of theater to orchestrate a show of light and sound.

The latest fashion accessory to grace the catwalk was Martin’s own stylish MAC 2000. In addition, Pascal cast 16 MAC 600s to fill the 250 square meter showroom with a pure wash of color, with MAC 250s projecting custom-made logos.

To provide the sound for the event, Pascal chose the compact but very powerful Mach M154I. Part of the Mach Installation Series, the Mach M154I is a two-way medium throw speaker, ideal for larger venues.

Martin equipment was provided by French lighting suppliers Référence.
