                               VERSION 1.12.
_____________________________________________________________________________
NEW FEATURES:
ERASE CUES (UTILITIES).
The ERASE CUES feature allows multi-erasing of cues. Mark cues for erasing
by toggling the [KEEP] buttons to [ERASE] either by selecting individual
buttons or selecting [MARK PAGE] or [MARK ALL]. Erase the cues by selecting
[START ERASE].

ERASE SEQUENCES (UTILITIES).
The ERASE SEQUENCES feature allows multi-erasing of cues. The functions are
identical to the ERASE CUES utility. The [CHECK CUES] function will check
existing cues and all sequences that are part of at least one cue will be
marked with a red [CUE] next to the [KEEP/ERASE] button. After checking
the cues the [MARK ALL "NO CUE"] button will be active.

SYSTEM RESOURCES CHECK
The software will now check the number of available file handles and report
an error if the number is too small. Previous versions crashed if the
number of files was incorrectly set in the CONFIG.SYS file.
Also if the available conventional DOS-memory is found insufficient the
program will abort with an error message.

The following system file suggestions will leave enough system resources
for the software to work.

MS-DOS 5.0 :

_____________________________________________________________________________
NEW PRODUCT:
Roboscan 1020 and Roboscan PRO 1220-I are now supported.
Please note that the Focus, Iris and Dimmer speeds are combined
as a common speed (labeled 'FID').

NEW FEATURES:
The LINK CONFIGURATION module has had a facelift. A new option enables you
to assign a fixture type to all channels on a link - including EMPTY CHANNEL,
by selecting the unit type and then 'SET ALL'.

In the SEQUENCE module a new feature now gives the possibility of displaying
a fixtures channel number(s) and group (if any). Use the DISPLAY option to
select between INFO mode (normal mode) and CHNL mode to display channel
number(s) and group.

2532 SUPPORT:
-------------
IMPORTANT : The 2532 MUST be connected to COM2.

The 2532 Direct access is now supported in the CUE module. Before using the
2532 it MUST be configured as optional hardware on the hardware set-up page.
Also it must have sequences and cues assigned to the 'matrix buttons' -
this is done from the 2532 set-up page.

In CUE mode the latch function will latch a complete cue (if any cue is
assigned). The flash buttons will flash an assigned sequence (if any) on
cue-channel 10.

The 18 user keys are used to access pages 1-18, giving 1008 virtual keys
in total.

                               VERSION 1.14.
_____________________________________________________________________________
The program SMPTEGEN.EXE for striping tapes with SMPTE timecode is now
distributed with update and installation disks. Before using make sure
that the VAPI24S driver is loaded.

ADDA-12:
--------
Controlling group dimmer-levels using analogue remote via the ADDA-12
interface now uses the fastest dimmer speed on all fixture types.

NEW FEATURE:
-----------
The cue-list module has been split into two different modules allowing the
internal timer of the PC to control execution of the cue-list. The former
cue-list module is unchanged and appears on the main menu as CUE-LIST (SMPTE)
where as the new module is called CUE-LIST (PC-CLOCK).

Operation of the new module is virtually identical to the old module -
except that the timing values are elapsed-time values as opposed to
SMPTE real-time values (e.g. WAIT INTERNAL 00:00:02:0 will run the previous
cue for 2 seconds before changing to the next entry). Also, to help editing
larger lists there is an option START CURRENT that will start execution from
the currently selected entry (if any) - START TOP will start execution from
the top of the list. The two cue-lists are treated as separate lists so it
is possible to have a a SMPTE cue-list and a PC-CLOCK cue-list in the same
installation.
The new command LOOP TO START gives the possibility to loop the whole list
once the execution has reached the last entry to let a show run continuously.

AUTOSTART:
---------
This new option has been added to the SOFTWARE SETUP. It allows the controller
to boot straight into either of the two cue-list modules, then load the
current list and start execution (if the SMPTE module is used it requires
a SMPTE signal before execution starts). Please allow time for initialization.

                               VERSION 1.15.
_____________________________________________________________________________
IMPORTANT !
File format of cuefiles (.CUE) has been changed. Updating to 1.15 will automatically
change the file format. Please note that after update these files will no longer be
compatible with previous versions.

UTILITIES:
---------
BACKUP/RESTORE to floppy disk has been added to the system.
The COMPLETE BACKUP/RESTORE options will backup/restore all user datafiles.
Use pre-formatted diskettes.

SOFTWARE SETUP:
--------------
It is now possible to sort sequences and cues by number or name. Set the default
sorting method from here.

HARDWARE SETUP:
--------------
The 3064 transmitter interface has been added to the options. Do not configure
unless you have a 3064 card installed.

CUE-MODULE:
----------
The CUE Module now has 3 modes : Cue Mode, Edit Mode and Fixture Mode.
Use the second left top row button to change Mode. The Fixture mode allows
manual override of all fixture parameters. Use the LOCK/FREE button on each
effect to override.

The Black-Out Function now works as a Preset Blackout.

ADDA-12:
-------
ADDA Interface has been extended with a Preset Blackout control channel.

It is now possible to use the ADDA-12 interface together with the 2532 Direct Access.
Please note that when the 2532 is enabled it is not possible to call up cues
with the ADDA-12, only dimmer override will work. Use the ADDA/2532 Buttons in the
CUE module to enable/disable either function temporarily.

MISC:
____
B/O Speeds for 218 Pan/Tilt movement have been implemented. This will only
work with 218 fixtures with software version 4 or higher.

                             VERSION 1.16.
_____________________________________________________________________________
Beta Versions only - please see ver 1.17.

                             VERSION 1.17.
_____________________________________________________________________________
BUGFIXES:
--------
812 gobo-strobe bug has been fixed.

RESET SEQ and TRIG SEQ now work from within FIXTURE MODE.

Re-saving a sequence no longer disables upload of datafiles.

'Random' settings of sequence status buttons when saving cues has been fixed.

Preset B/O in CUE now also works on strobe information.

Grouped fixtures will no longer have their dimmer speed defaulted
unless the dimmer levels are remotely controlled by ADDA12.

2532, Flashed sequences no longer hangs when pressing more than one flash key.

MISC:
----
SAVE SEQUENCE and SAVE CUE now operate much faster than in version 1.15.

516 0-10 V is now implemented in fixture mode. Use '+' and '-' to set levels
of all locked channels or click on the individual channel to set the level
of just that channel.

Software will verify the existence of the VAPI driver before SMPTE logging
is enabled.

When using a keyboard <Shift><F1> and <Shift><F2> will jump between sequence
and cue mode. The currently tagged sequence in cue mode will be loaded into
the sequence editor (when using <SF1> from cue mode), and the current cue
is re-loaded when returning from sequence editor (with <SF2>) - Do remember
to save any changes to the cue before using <SF1> - see quicksave.

NEW FIXTURES:
------------

4 New fixtures are now fully supported: RoboColor Pro 400, Roboscan 812,
Roboscan 518 and Roboscan 1220 CMYR.

NEW FEATURES, CUE MODULE:
-------------------------

GET STATIC, COMBINE STATICS, QUICK SAVE and QSAVE NEW.

GET STATIC captures the current fixture mode settings (if any) and stores
these into a sequence named "CUE #### OVL" with #### referring to the
current cue number - it also releases all fixture locks. Please note that
this function will only work if the new sequence can be inserted into a
priority slot and that the cue will NOT be saved automatically.

COMBINE STATICS combines all static information including any fixture mode
settings into one static sequence and saves it with the name 'CUE XXXX CO/OVR'
where XXXX refers to the current cue number. All static sequences are then
cleared from the cue and the new combined sequence is inserted into the cue.

Please note that sequences created by GET STATIC and COMBINE STATICS all
work as normal sequences concerning fixture parameter priorities.

QUICK SAVE saves the current cue without prompting for a new cue name.
If no current cue exists the QSAVE NEW function will be used.

QSAVE NEW (Quick Save New) saves the current cue-layout without prompting
for a cuename. The Cue is saved with a name consisting of the original cue
name (if any) with an '*' in front of it.

POWER AND FAN CTRL.
------------------
Please note that the Power On/Off, Fan, Shutter and strobe functions must be
programmed as single command sequences in order to work. This extends to
cues as well - do not insert sequences with Power, Fan or Shutter commands
into the same cue.

                             VERSION 1.18.
_____________________________________________________________________________

BUGFIX:
-------
This version fixes the version 1.16 and 1.17 ADDA 12 problems.
Also it is now possible to patch each type of remote channel to any of the
16 0-10 V channels, e.g. having 4 dimmer channels from 0-3 and cue channels from
4-10. The current remote assignments can be viewed from ADDA12/View All.

MISC:
-----
Sequence editor : It is now possible to re-edit lamp power on/off commands by
clicking on the active power button.

                             VERSION 1.19.
_____________________________________________________________________________

This version includes the latest updates needed to run the Pro 1220 CMYR.

                               VERSION 1.20.
_____________________________________________________________________________
NEW FIXTURE:
-----------
Roboscan Pro 1220 XR is now supported.

BugFix
------
CUELIST: DBO now works when selecting cues from the list

NEW FEATURE:
-----------
The SMPTE cuelist has been extended with a 30 Fps option.
Select 25 or 30 Fps from the HARDWARE setup page.

                               VERSION 1.21.
_____________________________________________________________________________

MISC:
----
List (incomplete) of hotkey functions can be found in hotkeys.txt

Setting the Environment variable MOUSEINT may result in a faster
switch between modules. Set the variable by using the DOS SET command :
SET MOUSEINT=0 from the commandline or in the autoexec.bat file.
This may not work with all mousedrivers.

The French translations are provided by Paul Pelletier of Granby, Canada.
Keep 'em coming.

OFFLINE FUNCTION:
----------------
By setting the ALLOW OFF-LINE function in Software settings the Martin Logo
on the top left side turns into a button. Activating this button disables
all serial output from the controller (the button is highlighted in red),
keeping the last static output.
This is especially handy if you need to jump between various modules but
don't want the fixtures to blackout. Press the button to re-enable the
output.

RS232 REMOTE:
------------
An RS232 Remote Control option has been implemented. Documentation may be
found in the RS232.TXT file.

FIXTURE MODE:
------------
The Default Option Now locks and defaults effects on the tagged fixtures.
Note that since the effects are set to default values a get static will not
include this information.

COMBINE STATICS:
---------------
The Combine Statics option will now only combine static sequences that are
enabled (ON). With this modification it is now possible to select which
sequences will be part of the combined sequence.

ADDA-12:
-------
Three new functions have been added to this interface. Each function requires
a single channel each. They are probably only usable if the ADDA 12 is
configured without cue selections.

RELOAD CUE
Reloads the current cue and re-starts sequences from scene 1 (or last scene
if reverse direction set).

PREV CUE/NEXT CUE
Both functions require that the load cue window is opened and a cue is
already selected and running.

CUE-LIST (CD):
-------------
This new feature allows playback control and logging of time code using a PC
CD-ROM drive and standard audio CDs.
Documentation of the individual functions can be found in the printed manual.

The following type of drive is recommended :
Dual spin CD-ROM with separate interface card (IDE interfaces NOT recommended).
The system may work with a sound card interface but this has not been tested.
The drive should have a motorized tray.
Obviously the drive should have audio capability - but so has all new drives.
The software was programmed and tested using a Wearnes CDD-110 CD-ROM drive
and CDC-005 interface card.

Both the device specific driver and MSCDEX must be loaded before the drive can
be used from the 3032 software. How to load these drivers should be covered in
the documentation that comes with the drive. If possible setup the interface
using DMA.

Note that a CD must be loaded into the drive before most functions can be used.

Some drives or setups may cause the system to perform very badly indicated by
a very jerky cursor as soon as a CD is loaded and playing.
If this is the case you may try to insert the following statement in
the autoexec.bat file SET QINT=X , where X is a value between 50 and 500.
The statement instructs the system to wait X milliseconds between CD access,
freeing resources for the 3032 software but resulting in a lower timing resolution.

                               VERSION 1.22.
_____________________________________________________________________________

NEW HARDWARE, DMX REMOTE:
------------------------
A new piece of optional hardware has been added. The DMX Remote consists of
a PC card that allows direct logging of DMX digital signals for remote control
of the 3032. The software implementation matches the ADDA12 implementation but
plans exists to increase the number of usable DMX channels to allow remote dimming
of all fixtures individually.

ADDA12, MODIFICATION:
--------------------
A High and Low value filter option has been added to help establish absolute zero
and full levels. The filters works by considering any value below the MIN level
will as 0, and any value above MAX level as 255. To adjust the filter values,
set all channels to 8 bit resolution and adjust the filter values so to get
defined full and zero readings on all channels.

EXCHANGABLE GOBO IMAGES:
-----------------------
All fixtures with gobos now has the possibility of being configured with custom gobo
images on an individual fixture basis. Each fixture may be configured from the
LINK CONFIGURATION page.
Press SETUP for each fixture to access to gobo configuration page. To select a new
gobo image simply click on the gobo position and select a new one from the available
gobos.
Remember to save before you leave LINK CONFIGURATION.

NEW UPDATE PROGRAM:
------------------
The Update program have changed so that the update files are read into a temporary
directory before being overwriting the files that are to be updated. This is done
to ensure that all files are readable from the diskette so that the update will
not stop in the middle of the process leaving the system unusable.
Further more the update offers a backup of the existing system (if there is not enough
space on the harddisk, the backup option will not be available).

NEW BACKUP and RESTORE - IMPORTANT !!.
----------------------------------
The Backup and Restore programs have both changed. It is no longer possible to
specify which individual files to backup, although it is still possible to select
between different groups of files. Also the restore now only offers the possibility
of overwriting or leaving files that already exists.

The backup program has been changed to take advantage of the SMARTDRV cache
program that comes with MS-DOS versions 5.0+ and MS-Windows.
This program may be used to write-cache the floppydisk while writing the files.
This may reduce the time taken to backup by as much as a factor 10 !.
To enable the write cache modify the line installing SMARTDRV with <driveletter>+
eg.:

  DOS 5.0 (CONFIG.SYS)
  DEVICEHIGH=C:\DOS\SMARTDRV.SYS 2048 A+ C

  DOS 6.0+ (AUTOEXEC.BAT)
  LH C:\DOS\SMARTDRV.EXE 2048 A+ C

The lines in your actual configuration may read different - just add an A+ to it.
(or B+ if you are using drive B as target).

The backup program has been tested with SMARTDRV from MS-DOS 6.22 but it
should work with other MS-DOS well.
The only problem found so far is, that if SMARTDRV detects an error on the
diskette while writing, it doesn't notify the backup program - it simply writes
an error message to the screen (which is not visible in graphics mode) and prompts
the user to retry. The indication of this problem while running the backup-program
is that the top left of the screen turns into a black box and the PC appears to
be locked up.
If pressing R a few times doesn't clear the problem the only cure is to reset the PC -
obviously rendering the backup useless. (Try to provoke the problem by pulling out
the floppy when it is written to).
However the benefits of using SMARTDRV are so great that this should not stop
anybody from trying it - and if you are using good quality diskettes there shouldn't
be problems at all.

PRESET POSITIONS:
----------------
The system now implements preset positions as part of the programming process.
Note that the system currently only supports presets for scanner mirror positions,
but there are plans to extend this system to other attributes e.g. focus settings.

The presets works by replacing a 'physical' location with a 'reference' to a location,
e.g. "Lead Vocal". By using the same preset (reference) when ever the same position
is used, re-editing the positions becomes so much easier.
If the "Lead Vocal" moves for the next performance or the stage changes, simply
re-edit the "Lead Vocal" preset and all the relevant positions will now change to the
new position.

The presets are created in SEQUENCE EDITOR.
To create the presets move all scanners to a specific position, e.g. Lead Vocal.
Now save the positions as a preset by selecting FILES / SAVE AS PRESET.
From now on use this preset whenever this position is needed.
Select FILES / GET PRESET (or keyboard P) to load the preset into the selected
fixtures, or use FILES / GET PRESET (ALL) to load the preset for all fixtures.
The fixture info will now display the preset name instead of the usual co-ordinates.
(Note keyboard L key will toggle light status for the selected fixtures,
<Alt> L will toggle light status for all fixtures).

It is also possible to use the presets in fixture mode (MOVE).

Please note the following:
The number of presets is limited to 999.
The presets are identified by name, thus it is not possible to save several presets
with the same name (trying to do so will only prompt for an overwrite of the previous
preset).

Whenever a preset is deleted the space is re-used the next time a new preset is saved.
This means that the new preset will be used in any sequence that previously
used the now deleted preset. So before deleting any presets - make sure that this
preset isn't used in any sequences - a later update may contain an automatic check
for this condition.

NEW SEQUENCE EDITOR FEATURES:
----------------------------
FILES/SAVE AS STATIC.
This new option saves the current scene as a new sequence containing only one
scene. The sequence currently being edited is not affected. This option should be
seen as a convenient way to save the current scene to a static sequence.

NEW CUE FEATURES:
----------------
DELETE CUE (EDIT CUE MODE)
Deletes the current Cue.

RENAME SEQ (CUE MODE)
Rename the currently tagged sequence. Note that execution of sequences is
stopped when using the keyboard. Mainly for renaming static overlays.

NEW ERASE PROGRAM:
-----------------
ERASE CD-LISTS from the UTILITY menu has been replaced by an ERASE PRESET
Program.
Use FILES/DELETE LIST in the CD module to erase CD lists.

NEW CUELIST MODULE (SMPTE/PC-CLOCK).
-----------------------------------
The two cuelist modules (SMPTE/PC-CLOCK) have been replaced by one new module.
The new module has almost the same functionality as the CUELIST-CD module allowing
both SMPTE, PC-CLOCK and manually driven cuelists.

SEQUENCES:
Besides inserting cues into the cuelist it is now possible to insert sequences as well.
Using GET SEQ it is possible to load a sequence into a any channel, as well as locking,
unlocking and clearing a channel, much like the LOCK/OPEN function in the CUE module.

GO:
The list may be driven by the GO Button. Pressing GO will execute the list until the
next cue entry is reached (this includes all sequence commands).

MARK:
The SET MARK command is used to set a mark in the list and START MARK is used to
start execution from this point. This will be especially handy when programming a list
using the PC-CLOCK.

PC-CLOCK:
When using the PC-CLOCK to drive the list, insert realtime wait points by selecting
EDIT WAIT. The list may be directed to any line (e.g. looped to line 1) using
TOOLS/SET GOTO LINE.

NOTE !
If SMPTE is enabled or the GO button is used, WAIT realtime commands will be ignored.

SMPTE:
To enable SMPTE input, use the SMPTE option in HARDWARE SETUP or ENABLE SMPTE
from this page. Using 25/30 fps in HARDWARE SETUP only sets the number of frames
available when editing - the system will detect the right frame rate automatically.
Use LOG SMPTE to log codes during playback or EDIT SMPTE to create or edit time log.
When logging multiple waits it is possible to log up to 255 points at a time.
Note that the LOG SMPTE/CLEAR LOGS only clears the buffered log points, not those
already added to the list.
It is now possible to add an offset value to all SMPTE times from within the program
(TOOLS / SMPTE OFFSET).

AUTOSTART:
When using Autostart to boot the controller into running a specific cue-list,
select the list with TOOLS/SET AS DEFAULT LIST. Also remember to enable
AUTOSTART/CUELIST in SOFTWARE SETUP. If the cuelist is driven by SMPTE, remember
to enable SMPTE in HARDWARE SETUP.

NOTE !
Conversion program for old cuelists LISTCONV.EXE. Execute from DOS.
If Autostart was previously enabled in either cuelist, please reset the
switch in SOFTWARE SETUP and select default cuelist in the cuelist/tools
module.

MISC:
____
The function of the quick jump buttons has been changed slightly. In order to jump
to another module click and HOLD the button for a short while.

The program now uses EMS memory (if available) to buffer overlay files. If there
is 8 MB (or more) of memory available on the PC you may benefit from this by
setting 512 KB aside for EMS memory. E.g.:

DEVICE=C:\DOS\EMM386.EXE RAM 512 FRAME=E000 I=B000-B7FF I=C800-DFFF

Please refer to your DOS manual.

MISC. BUG FIXES:
---------------

The SPEED ON Button in SEQUENCE MOVEMENT now works as intended.

                               VERSION 1.23.

THIS AND ALL FURTURE 3032 VERSIONS REQUIRES A MATH CO-PROCESSOR IN THE PC.

MISC:
-----
It is now possible to name each fixture icon individually. On the individual SETUP page
in LINK CONFIGURATION, click the button to the right of the user name indication.
One channel fixtures are limited to a maximum length of 6 characters, while two
channel fixtures are limited to 10 characters.

Some numerical fields will now accept entry by keyboard. By clicking directly on the
field it will turn blue to indicate that it now accepts keyboard entries.
Accept the entry by pressing Enter or cancel by clicking anywhere on the screen
with the mouse. For this reason the [Enter] hotkey in the editor has been replaced
by [+].

It has been found that the SMARTDRV.EXE version supplied with MS-Windows 3.1
does write not work as intended when used with the built-in backup program.
Do not use this version of SMARTDRV with write-behind cache on the floppy-drive.

LINK PATHCING:
-------------
A new option has been added under the UTILITIES MENU. Using this module it is
now possible to copy, move and remove different fixtures on the link. When copying
a fixture all data including gobos, names and sequence data is copied to the new
fixture.

SEQUENCE:
---------
The fixture icons in all-mode has been re-mapped so that they now appear

as : Link1 Link2
       Link3 Link4

The load sequence window has been changed to the same type as used in CUE.

A Copy Fixture command has been added to the tools menu. This command will copy
scenes in the current sequence from one fixture to other fixtures of the same
type.

CUE:
----
The fixture icons in Fixture mode has been re-mapped so that they now appear
as 2 links beside each other.

CUELIST:
--------
The Wait Realtime now works in the SMPTE mode of CUE LIST. This change will
enable continuos loops (using the same timecode and a GOTO LINE ).
Simply stick in a WAIT that's long enough to allow the system to pick up
the new timecode before jumping back to the top of the list.
When using the jump buttons to access SEQUENCE and CUE mode from the cuelists
the current sequence or cue will now be auto-loaded, also when re-entering the
cuelist you will return to the last position.

CUELIST (CD):
------------
The program has been changed so that it now works with recordable audio CDs.
To use the AUDIO CD feature with the 3032 make sure that the version of MSCDEX
(Microsoft CD Extension) is at least version 2.20.
When using the jump buttons to access SEQUENCE and CUE mode from the cuelists
the current sequence or cue will now be auto-loaded, also when re-entering the
cuelist you will return to the last position.

Updates on using the 3064 card (Beta).
--------------------------------------
- Using this update requires 3064 CPU versions 3.0.
Note that running this version with 3064 cards requires a math-co processor.
The co-processor already part of the 486DX and Pentiums should do fine.

To install the 3064 cards do the following :

- Setup 3064 card IRQ and IO settings from Dos (run 3064SET.EXE).
- Check the hardware connections by executing 3064.EXE.
- Make sure that 3064.EXE is always executed before running the 3032 software.
- From HARDWARE SETUP/3064 SETUP select MARTIN or MARTIN/DMX.
The MARTIN setting works as usual with Martin protocol transmitted
on both links. MARTIN/DMX transmits martin protocol on link 1/3 and
256 channels of DMX on link 2/4. Both cards may be set for any to of these
  protocols.
- Remember to configure the links with either Martin fixtures or 'DMX-fixtures'
before using. Note that configuring Martin fixtures on a DMX link makes NO sense -
also, do not run 'DMX Fixtures' on a Martin Link.
- Note that a card transmitting Martin and DMX is limited to an update rate of
10 Hz (this is also the update rate of the DMX) so using trig times faster that
0.1 sec just produces weird updates on to the link. A DMX/DMX option to be
implemented later will give a much improved update rate (25 Hz).

  Note on 3064.EXE.
This program is a resident driver program that enables communication with the
3064 transmitter cards. The driver MUST be loaded before the 3032 software is
started. There is currently no way to unload this driver - so to re-claim the
memory used or reconfigure the driver (IRQ/IO) you will need to re-boot the PC.
The driver uses approx. 20KB memory and works fine if loaded high.

  Using DMX out.
The implementation of DMX-out was implemented to facilitate the control
of various DMX equipment such as dimmer and switch packs. Although it
is possible to run Martin Fixtures in DMX mode it is not recommended as
the DMX update-rate really isn't high enough for smooth transitions and
tracking. Also there is no Martin personalities implemented in DMX mode.

To use the DMX out facility of the 3064 card select MARTIN/DMX from the
HARDWARE SETUP/3064 SETUP. Then configure the link(s) to DMX from
LINK CONFIGURATION. The link is divided into 32 (or less) 'DMX fixtures' of 8 channels
each. It is possible to program an individual fadetime for each channel from 0 to
25.5 seconds in increments of 0.1.
In SEQUENCE MODE each channel icon shows the actual output (realtime - allowing
for fadetimes) in green and the programmed fadetime in red.
In FIXTURE mode the programmed output is shown in green and the actual output
is shown in red. In any mode, by clicking on the numerical fields (level/time)
it is possible to enter values using the PC-keyboard (using 0-9 '.' and backspace).

2532 DA
-------
To remove the existing problems with the 2532 that some users have, the 2532
has been upgraded to Eprom version 3. To select the new version enable the
2532 DA (V.3) button in the HARDWARE SETUP page. Note that versions 2 and 3 are
NOT compatible, but both versions may still be used with the 3032 as long as they
are configured correctly. Version 3 however is NOT usable with the 2032 controller.

It is now possible to save sequences/cues into the 2532 from within the CUE module.
While the REMOTE button is enabled (green) a right-click with the mouse will change
the buttons display to 'save' on blue background.
The next time a latch button is pressed the currently active cue (if any) will be saved
into that button. Likewise, if a flash button is pressed, the currently active sequence
will be saved into that button. The program will take the current page and bank into
account when storing. To disable the save function without actually saving anything
just right-click the button a second time.

About the MOUSEINT setting.
--------------------------
As described in the notes for version 1.21 a faster switching between modules may be
obtained by setting the Dos Environment variable MOUSEINT=0.
This is especially true for Logitech Mouse drivers. Make sure that there are
no spaces in the SET MOUSEINT=0 except for the one between SET and MOUSEINT.

Misc. bugfixes.
--------------
Locked sequences in Cue mode now remains locked with their status buttons intact.

UTILITIES/2510
--------------
The 2510 controller is a small 'black-box' containing non-volatile memory.
By using this module it is possible to download sequences, from the 3032 down to
the 2510 controller for playback purposes. The 2510 may contain more than 8000
fixture/scenes with a maximum of 99 different sequences. The sequences may be
linked together for a 'sequence-list' type execution, and may be trigged by auto rate,
music using the built in microphone or manually.
This module will also allow generation of datafiles for later download.
The 2510 uses a standard RS232 for downloading - a program for downloading from
any PC (eg. laptop) is also provided (2510DNLD.EXE).

                               VERSION 1.24
_____________________________________________________________________________

IMPORTANT - PAL 1200:
------------------

The PAL 1200 implementation has been changed to support the new mirror section
with 286 deg. Pan and is NOT compatible with fixtures with the old mirror head.

NEW FILE FORMAT - IMPORTANT !
------------------------
Fileformat for cues have been changed, making them incompatible with earlier
versions. A backup before updating is recommended.
When updating, an automatic conversion of older cues will automatically be
  done by the update program.
It is possible to update old format cues after having installed the new update,
simply run the program UPDACUE.EXE from the DOS prompt in the directory where
  the 3032 software is installed.

NEW FIXTURE - 1220 RPR
-------------------

This version implements the 1220 RPR, a 1220CMYR with the CMY module replaced
by a rotating prism module, and a narrow angle optics.
Please note that the production version may have other prisms than the ones
  shown here.

BUGFIXES
-------
Patching fixtures now also includes preset positions.
Copying fixture data in SEQUENCE now also copies data in the current scene.

SEQUENCE
-------
It is now possible to default a all data for a fixture in one more scenes.
Selecting TOOLS/DEFAULT FIXTURE will default data for all selected fixtures
  in the current sequence.

CUE
---
New sequence loop Options. By selecting the loop function in cue mode the
  following options are available :

First Scene and Last Scene : it is now possible to limit the execution to a
number of scenes within the sequence.

Cont.Loop - Continuos looping of sequence. This is default.
Rebound - the sequence will 'bounce' forwards and backwards between first
                and last scene.
Loop# - The sequence will loop a finite number of times. The actual number
may be set by the Loop parameter to a maximum of 99 loops. Note
that the value of 0 will always execute the sequence once.
Preset - An option useful when limiting the execution to a number of scenes.
If preset is selected the sequence will always execute its first loop from
                the first scene.

Note that the loop options are selected only when you select OK. In some cases
you may have to save and reload the cue to see the effect.

Locked sequences are no longer cleared when CLEAR CUE is selected.

The music trig sensitivity using the microphone input on the 3032 transmitter card
has been changed slightly. To gain the advantage of the new method an upgrade
of the 3032 card 1 Eprom to version 3.0 is necessary.
The old version 2.0 still works as usual.

RS232 REMOTE
-----------
The Sequence loop option has been expanded with the rebound option.

ADDA-12
-------
The ADDA-12 implementation has been changed slightly to support a new version
of the ADDA card. It still supports the old type and there should be no changes
  in functionality.

UPDATE
-----
The Update program has been changed so that the backup now includes all programs
  and data.

2510
----
Note that when downloading data to the 2510 you can not use fixtures with address
32 since this is reserved for communication with the 2510.

OFFLINE FUNCTION
------------
The On-Line/OFF-Line button now displays OFFLINE when enabled.

SMPTE & CD
---------
The timecode field no longer displays a timeout message when the SMPTE
signal is missing, it now displays the last received time code in red.
Then Comment function now automatically inserts an line.

MISC
___
As the delay introduced on the Quick Menu buttons did not please all users,
it is now optional from the software setup page. Note that default after update
  is no delay.

                               VERSION 1.25
_____________________________________________________________________________

NOTE: !

Due to a change in the loop information stored with every sequence entry in
cues - previously recorded loop settings may no longer appear when executing the
cues. Please reset the loop parameters and save the cue.
  Also see CUE notes.

The PAL move time representation has changed slightly. The function now has a
separate BO button for blackout while the mirror moves and no longer defaults
the fixture to blackout movement. The drawback to this change is that all sequences
that was programmed with an earlier version and are using the blackout feature,
will have to be re-edited to enable the blackout. Also if movetimes of 25.5 seconds
are used (only with 3064 card) this will have to be re-edited. Maximum time is now
  limited to 25.0 seconds.

NEW FIXTURE
---------
The fixture list has been updated with the PAL 1200/6 fixture. This fixture
is the latest PAL 1200 fixture with 6 fixes colors (one white) and 6 gobos
  (one open).

To synchronize the dimming of the PAL using the Remote option (ADDA or DMX
remote) with standard theater-style dimmerpacks, an optional alternative dimming
as been implemented. This is selectable from the fixture setup page.

BUGFIXES
------
The 2510 download data should now work correctly with two-section fixtures.
Selecting a CD-rom drive as temporary drive no longer crashes the program
  when it is restarted.

In Sequence editor, selecting prism function then selecting a PAL/PAL6 no longer
  crashes the program.

SEQUENCE
-------
Links with active fixtures are indicated by the link selection button
  displayed with blue background.
The Reset function prompts before resetting fixtures.
L hotkey for lights on/off now only uses the gobowheel on the 812.
Note that the field normally containing the Sequence name, when clicked,
now toggles between the sequence name and the sequence type.

  PAL BEAM
To ease the focus/zoom programming of the PAL fixtures a new function has
been implemented. It is now possible to store and recall 5 different focus/zoom
positions. To store a setting press the SET button and then press the relevant
number. Note that the settings are only stored/recalled for the currently active
fixtures. When storing a setting it is the individual fixture setting that is stored -
which may be different for all selected fixtures. Also note that the settings do
NOT have a preset-like function - that is changes in the settings do NOT change
  sequence values.

  FILE MENU
The filemenu now has 3 new buttons to manipulate sequence types. Please refer to
this special issue later in this file.

It is now possible to save a new cue from the Sequence file menu. The cue will
consist of the current sequence only using the name of the sequence for the cue
as well. You will be prompted to save the sequence if it has now yet been saved.

CUE
---
The 'CUE MODE' button has been split into 2 buttons for simpler access to the 3
  different cue modes.

The Cue mode has been assigned 6 new buttons for manipulating sequence and cue
types. Please refer to this special issue later in this document.
Also note that the field normally containing the cuename, when clicked, now toggles
between the cue name and the cue type.

A CLEAR function has been added to the loop menu. This clears any loop information
  stored with the sequence.

There is now a separate button for trigging manual sequences only.

In fixture mode the Pro 400 now has color buttons to mimic the color wheels.

CUELIST/SMPTE & CD
---------------
The CD cuelist will now automatically scroll during execution of a show.
When exiting either list modules, the current list will now automatically
  be saved as "LAST LIST".

PAL CMY PRESET LIBRARIES
-------------------
A preset library system with color references has been (partly) implemented for the
PAL fixtures. The libraries (accessible from the CMY functions) are implemented
as two system libraries and a user definable library (not yet implemented). The
two system libraries both contains references to standard Rosco/Lee colors used
with a halogen light source. System library 1 uses the fixed colorwheel of the
PAL, primarily the color correction, but also some of the fixed colors. Note that
in the current implementation, the system library expects the fixed color wheel
  to contain the default colors.
System library 2 does not use the fixed color wheel, so a lot of these entries will
be the best match. Note that none of the libraries has a full compliment of references
  yet.

A later update will implement a custom setup of the color wheels and the system
referring to the correct color - not a fixed position on the color wheel.

The preset system re-uses data-entries that is normally used for color and CMY
information - so you may experience weird side effects in CUE when you override
color information in a higher priority sequence or lock a fixture that is not
using CMY preset together with fixtures that are using CMY preset.

SEQUENCE AND CUE TYPES
-------------------
By assigning types to cues and sequences it is now possible to write programs for
the 3032 without actually knowing about the particular lighting installations.
This will be used in the future to distribute cuelists for a large number of new
CD releases. To run these cuelists all you need is to program the sequence types.
Currently 81 sequence types are defined, 58 for installations with out Zaps, center-
pieces or analogue fixtures. When executing the lists the system will select randomly
between cues and sequences of the same type, so by programming just a few cues
and sequences of each type you will have a lot of variation each time you play
  the CD.

The system may also be useful when running cues, by replacing normal sequences by
sequence types you may gain a lot of variation in the look of the cues.

  SEQUENCE FILEMENU FUNCTIONS
  -----------------------

SEQUENCE TYPE LIST. This function lists all possible sequence types and associated
sequences (if any). The types are all pre-defined in the system and cannot be
  changed by the user.

ASSIGN SEQUENCE TYPE, CLEAR SEQUENCE TYPE. Use these functions to assign or
  clear the sequence type.

  CUE FUNCTIONS
  -----------

ASSIGN CUE TYPE, CLEAR CUE TYPE. Use these functions to assign or clear the cue
  type.

VIEW SEQ NAME / VIEW SEQ TYPE. Toggles between sequence name and sequence
types in the sequence slots. The type view is useful when constructing cues
  containing sequence types.

SEQUENCE TYPE LIST. This function lists all possible sequence types and associated
sequences (if any). To use a sequence type in a cue - select the white sequence
  type name.

LOAD CUE TYPE. Loads a cue type.

CUE TYPE LIST. This function lists all possible cue types and associated sequences
(if any). The cue types a pre-defined by the system and cannot be changed by the
  user.

CD LIST IMPORT/EXPORT
-----------------
These functions have been added to facilitate import and export of the CD cuelists
  mentioned above.

                               VERSION 2.00
_____________________________________________________________________________

SERIAL# NO LONGER REQUIRED
---------------------
The system serial number is now no longer checked when installing or updating
the software. This eliminates the need for special installation diskettes with
each transmitter card. From this version there will only be one set of diskettes
that contains the update program (UPDATE.EXE) as well as the installation
  program (INSTALL.EXE).

NEW FIXTURES
------------
The ImageScan and MAC 1200 fixtures has been implemented.

The CA Motor Control has been implemented. Note that this implementation will
NOT copy new settings to multiple channels. Any changes in settings will only affect
the current icon. There are 3 states for each control :
  OFF - (white/gray direction arrow)
PRESET - (red arrow - press GO to enable output)
ENABLED - (green arrow - output enabled)
The STOP ALL button sets all enabled channels back to preset.

A new version of RoboColor Pro 400 (software version 7 or better) has been
  implemented.
The new version uses intensity control, where the old version uses shutter/dimmer
control. This has been implemented to avoid problems with dimmer speeds when
sequences are downloaded to a 2510 controller. The fixture needs at least version
7 software to work with this new implementation.
Note that sequences written for the old version are NOT compatible with
  the new version.

The name of the PAL version with 5 gobos has been changed to MARTIN PAL/5,
the 6 gobo version has been changed to MARTIN PAL/6, and the PAL with
effects module has been renamed to MARTIN PAL/E

CMY PRESET LIBRARIES
-------------------
The userdefinable CMY Library has now been implemented for PALs,1220CMY and
MACs. This enables the user to create and save presets for the CMY settings.
When selecting the USER library it is now possible to create (SAVE NEW) and edit
(SAVE) user defined presets. As with the SYS1 library colorwheel setting(s) are
  included in the preset.
To create a new preset set the CMY/COLOR values desired on the selected fixture
and press the SAVE NEW button. You will then be prompted for a preset name.
The editing works a little different. When the desired preset settings has been
set on the selected fixture press the SAVE button, then select from the list
which preset name this new setting should be saved under. To cancel press SAVE
  a second time.

Note that as with the movement presets, the selected fixtures are not automatically
  loaded with the new preset.

Due to re-use of dataspace when using CMY presets functions may not be completely
consistent in CUE mode when modifying individual colors or CMY settings on fixtures
  when using the CMY presets.

IMPORT SCENE
----------
It is now possible to select between all or individual fixtures when importing
  a scene in SEQUENCE EDITOR.

CUE
---
The '+' and '-' buttons now trigs a manual sequence forward or reverse.
Also the keyboard '+' and '-' buttons trigs the current selected sequence
  if in manual trig mode.

HOTKEYS
------
The space bar now works as hotkey for the TRIG MAN function in the CUE module.

CUE-LIST (CD):
----------
It is now possible to offset the cd timecodes.
The timecode affected can be specified in four different ways :

From Mark 1, modifies all timecodes from start of the list to Mark 1
To Mark 1, modifies all timecodes from Mark 1 to end of the list
Between Marks, modifies all timecodes between Mark 1 And Mark 2
All Timecodes, modifies all timecodes in the list

CUE-LIST (SMPTE):
-------------
It is now also possible to offset a part only of the SMPTE time codes.
Use MARK and MARK2 to frame the part in question and then select the
DO OFFSET BETWEEN MARKS option from the OFFSET TIMECODE menu.

MISC
____
The MEM info now also shows the current DOS directory name.
The program no longer crashes when exporting CD-lists.

                               VERSION 2.01
_____________________________________________________________________________
Bugfixes
------
Version 2.0 unfortunately had the musictrig signal from the 3032 card disabled.
This is now fixed.
Install program now longer crashes when installing from diskettes with system-label.

New Fixture
--------
A new version of Roboscan 518 (software version 7 or better) has been implemented.
The new version uses intensity control, where the old version uses shutter/dimmer
control. This has been implemented to avoid problems with dimmer speeds when
sequences are downloaded to a 2510 controller. The fixture needs at least version
7 software to work with this new implementation.
Note that sequences written for the old fixture version are NOT compatible with
the new version.

                               VERSION 2.02
_____________________________________________________________________________

New Features:
---------

CUE-LIST (CD):
----------
A new functionality for multiple track CDs has been added. If a list for a
particular CD contains more than one PLAY TRACK # entry, a window will pop up
and prompt the user for which track entry to play from. This allows multiple tracks
from the CD to be programmed while giving an easy to use track selection. Simply
click on the entry in the list.
To help identify the tracks it is now possible to 'register' the CD with title and tracks
from TOOLS/CD / CD CONTROL / REGISTER CD.

Note, this track selection is only active when using the AUTO function to start playback
- either as default boot option or by pressing the AUTO button.

EXPORT & IMPORT OF SEQUENCES:
-----------------------
It is now possible to import and export sequences. Sequences are exported to the
default directory SEQXPORT and you will have to copy them onto the appropriate
media. Note that all sequences in the export directory are erased before exporting
new ones.

The import function will re-number any import sequences that have the same number
as existing sequences, in effect, always adding the import sequences to the system.
Note that there is no check on configurations so it is possible to import sequences
that are for a completely different setup.
This function should only be used to transfer sequences between controllers with
identical configurations. You may change the import path by clicking on the bar
in the lower left hand corner.

Bugfix
----
Bug when using MAC1200 with inverse PAN fixed.

MAC 600
------
The MAC 600 Fixture has been implemented. The MAC requires software version 1.0
or better to accept Martin protocol. To avoid a slight leak of light during blackout,
the fixture defaults to shutter and dimmer closed, that means that in order to get any
light from the fixture, both shutter and dimmer must be opened.

Roboscan 518 Ver 7+ , RoboColor Pro 400 Ver 7+
--------------------------------------
The implementation has changed slightly to make the fixtures work with DMX-remote.
Also, a DMX-dimmer option has been added to the fixture setup. This allows direct
override of the light intensity without using fixture groups. Note that the override
is active in Sequence editor as well as cue mode.

                               VERSION 2.03
_____________________________________________________________________________

Bug fix
------
Sequence editor no longer crashes when selecting MAC 600 after gobo selection on
another fixture.

Imagescan Version 5+
---------------
A new version of the imagescan has been implemented. The new version adds time
to gobo indexing and focusing. To use the new implementation the imagescan MUST
be equipped with software version 5 or better. Note, the 'old' imagescan versions
are not compatible.

                               VERSION 2.04
_____________________________________________________________________________
MAC 500
------
The MAC 500 Fixture has been implemented. The MAC requires software version 0.9
beta or better to accept Martin protocol.

NEW FEATURES:
-----------
A switch has been added under software setup to enable autostart into CUE.
MAC500 and MAC600 now has the possibility to override the strobe function using
a DMX control channel.

                               VERSION 2.06 beta
_____________________________________________________________________________
BUGFIX
-----
The problem with the software crashing on PCs with a fast CPU has been patched.

MAC250
------
The Mac 250 Fixture has been implemented.

                               VERSION 2.07 beta
_____________________________________________________________________________

FIXTURES
--------
The Mac 300 Fixture has been implemented.

The RoboColor 3 fixture is identical to the RoboColor 2 fixture, except it has
no lamp-power function, and color wheels are used for blackout.

The Roboscan 918 fixture is identical to the MAC 500 - except it has different
gobos on the rotating gobowheel.

BUGFIXES
-------
9 minute skip on cd has been fixed.
Ineffective lock on continuos color scroll on MAC600 and MAC 250 has been fixed.

                               VERSION 2.08
_____________________________________________________________________________

Martin to DMX interface.
-----------------
A personality for the "Martin to DMX" interface has been implemented.
The interface is used to control fixtures that are only capable of receiving DMX.
The DMX interface connects to the serial link like a fixture, and translates the
equivalent of 16 Martin fixtures into 128 DMX channels sent on a separate link.

The 3032 does not contain any personalities for specific DMX fixtures, all fixtures
must be programmed using DMX values according to the fixtures DMX protocol.

The 3032 and interface does not support timed DMX fades - all DMX values are
programmed as static values.

The interface also works with the 2510 download controller.

Connecting the Interface.
-----------------
The interface connects to the serial link like any other fixture. Remember to
terminate the interface (Martin Out) if the interface is the last device on the (Martin)
link.
Use the DIP-switches 1-6 on the interface to set the Martin-address (1-32) on
the interface. The interface translates from the fixture address set via the DIP switches
and for the next 15 fixture addresses - this means that the interface can be used
to control any 16 contiguous addresses i.e. : 1-16, 2-17 or 8-24.
Two interfaces may be used to translate a full link of 32 addresses.
Do not connect fixtures running on Martin protocol to the interface -
rather connect these fixtures directly to the link from the 3032 as usual.

Configuring the DMX personalities.
-----------------------
The interface personality is an 8 channel 'generic' DMX control. This means that
the personality has 'faders' for controlling fixtures with using up to 8 DMX channels for
control. It is possible to control fixtures with more than 8 channels, but in this case
several contiguous interface personalities must be configured.

In the Link configuration module it is possible to customize the name of the individual
fixture icons, as well as the individual channel labels.
To costumes any icon, click the setup button next to the configured fixture.

To change the Icon name, click the button to the right of the User Name label.
The icon name defaults to DMX and is limited to 5 characters.
Likewise to change the individual channel labels, click any of the 8 buttons to the
right of the 'Channels' label.

The fixture Code may be used to distinguish between different types of DMX fixtures.
If not used all icons are considered to represent the same fixture and will be multi
selected as usual when using the middle or right mouse button. If the personalities
represent diffrent fixture types, use the Fixture Code to distinguish between the
fixtures, giving different fixtures different IDs. The Id can be up to 3 characters long.

Connecting the fixtures.
----------------
Connect the fixtures intended to run on DMX protocol to the DMX out on the interface.
Regardless of the Martin address, the interface always translates to DMX address 1 to 128.
As each personality takes up 8 DMX channels, the DMX start address to be set for
each fixture can be calculated as : ((personality_address-interface_address)*8)+1.

Example : The interface is set to address 8, the personality is set to address 10,
the fixture DMX start address is calculated as (10-8)*8+1 = 17.

Programming the fixtures
------------------
In the SEQUENCE editor: select one or more channels by clicking on the channel bar
and use the + and - buttons to increase or decrease the value. Alternatively click
the field containing the value below the 'fader' and type in the value directly via the
keyboard (keyboard value entry must be ended with [Enter]).

In cue mode : to override values, lock one or more channels and use the + and -
buttons or alternatively clicking directly on the value field and enter the value
directly by keyboard.
