To obtain absolute maximum output intensity from your fixture when you are operating it in calibrated mode, you need to disable CT (color temperature) control on the CT DMX channel. This is because CT adjustment tends to reduce overall intensity. Fixtures vary, but you usually need to send a DMX value of between zero and 19 (preferably zero) on the CTC or CTO channel to disable CT control. Our user manuals say that these values have 'No function', but it is more correct to say 'CT disabled' for these values. We are updating our user manuals to avoid any confusion in future.

To avoid an unnecessary reduction in output intensity when using a control console, make sure that the console gives access to all 255 DMX values on the CT channel and that this channel's default setting is DMX value zero.
