MACIII Profile & MACIII Performance - New revision of the controller PCB.

For several reasons we have chosen to implement a couple of changes to the MacIII series controller PCB (Motherboard). There is no change in the functionality of the product and as a user you should not see any difference.

However there is one important thing that you need to be aware of. The new revision of the controller PCB will only work with software version 1.7.0 or higher! Anything below software version 1.7.0 will not be accepted by the new controller PCB.

The new controller PCB was implemented in MacIII fixtures beginning with serial number 0347160001. If you have MacIII’s with this serial number or higher do not attempt to downgrade the software to an older version than 1.7.0.

MacIII fixtures which have serial numbers below 0347160001 can run on all the available software versions but as always we highly recommend that you use the most recent version of the software.
