After positive market feedback we have decided to install the diffusion filter in the smartMAC as standard from the factory. With the diffusion filter installed, the smartMAC delivers a more even beam. The filter is easily removed if a higher light output with a more intense beam center is desired.

The filter has been installed at the factory starting with serial number 4074286001.
