The Specifications sections of the MAC 2000 Wash, Profile and Performance user manuals list the main fuses required as:

  • T 20 A for use with 100 - 120 V mains power, and
  • 15 A for use with 208 - 240 V mains power

The T that should be there to indicate that the 15 A fuses are time-lag / slow-blow type has been left out by mistake. The correct main fuses required by all MAC 2000 Wash, Profile and Performance fixtures are:

  • T 20 A for use with 100 - 120 V mains power, and
  • T 15 A for use with 208 - 240 V mains power

All fuses in MAC 2000 fixtures should be time-lag / slow-blow type in order to avoid fuses blowing due to inrush currents that are totally normal and totally safe. If you have installed standard-time / fast-blow 15 A fuses in a MAC 2000 Wash, Profile or Performance fixture when running on 208 - 240 V mains power, we recommend that you replace them with time-lag / slow-blow 15 A fuses.

The online specifications that can be viewed from MAC 2000 fixtures' Product Support pages on the Martin website have contained the correct fuse data since we made online specs available over two years ago. While our user manuals have contained occasional mistakes in the past, we do everything we can to ensure that our online product specs are totally accurate, totally correct and totally up-to-date.

As a footnote, whether fuses are listed as T 15 A or 15 AT, the T indicates that the fuse is time-lag / slow-blow type.
