A frost filter is now available for the MAC 500 and RoboScan Pro 918 that may be installed in place of the prism flag for a variable frost effect. The frost filter assembly may be ordered as P/N 91611003, "Frost filter MAC 500/RS 918, assembled."

Once installed, the fixture type setting (SPEC/FTYP) must be changed to "FROS" to enable the frost variation of the DMX protocol. In this variation frost is inserted from 0 to 100% on channel 10, DMX values 0 - 255.
