Due to the way the display software is updated, the MX-10, MAC 250 Krypton, MAC 250 Entour, and the MAC 550 may appear dead when you power it up for the first time after installing new software. This condition is normal and lasts for about 30 seconds to 2 minutes, after which the fixture resets.

The reason for this is that the display software in these fixture is contained in the main CPU software. When there is an update to the display software, it is installed automatically when you boot up the fixture after installing new main CPU software. The fixture appears to be dead while the display is being programmed.

Note! If you turn off the fixture during the update process, you can corrupt the code in the display.
