Philips has increased the average lamp life of its ELC 24V/250W halogen lamp to 500 hours. The previous specification was 300 hours. The ELC 24V/250W lamp is used in the MX-1, CX-2, Acrobat, Juggler, and Raptor. It may also be used in older Punishers and Destroyers: see Tech Note 15 from February 27, 1998.

The 500 h lamp may be ordered as P/N 97000107. The old 300 h lamp, P/N 97000106, has been discontinued.
