New Look for Chevrolet Dealership in Venezuela

A completely renovated Super Autos Chevrolet car dealership in Puerto Ordaz, Venezuela wanted a bold new look during the day while keeping the attention of customers at night. With opening hours that extend until 9:00 pm, and a service center that stays open until midnight, what better way to attract attention after sundown than with a Martin exterior lighting scheme.
Supplied and designed by Martin distributor Audio Concept C.A., seven Martin Exterior 200 short throw fixtures were installed on elevated posts ranging from 2.5 to 4 meters in height across the 30-meter façade of the dealership. Contrasting effectively with the fluorescent UV tube lighting of the inside cove, the Exterior 200 illumination bathes the building in a rainbow of changing shades. All fixtures are controlled via a PC based Martin LightJockey control system.
The dealership’s owners were surprised by not only the degree of highlight provided by the Exterior 200 fixtures but also by the relative low cost of the system. "It´s incredible the results you can get with 1,050 watts of light. At the cost of 4 full page newspaper ads, the system pays for itself in the blink of an eye with the repeated attention given by passersby... every single night of the year."
Recently inaugurated with a grand opening ceremony that included local musical bands and over 600 guests, GM’s Venezuelan president praised the overall high quality of the installation.
