Prom, that formal dance held by virtually every American high school near the end of the academic year, is one of the biggest nights in any young adult’s life. But what makes one prom better than another?
Event company Oxygen Sound of Dallas, Texas has the answer: a Martin intelligent lighting rig that brings a state-of-the-art experience to everyone.
Oxygen Sound recently provided a big time club experience for this year’s Allen High School Prom held at the
James Bruce, a lighting designer and programmer at Oxygen Sound, commented, “We are Martin fans all the way. We like the reliability and the cross light features between the MAC 500's and the RoboScan 918's, as well as the differences. For example, both lights have the same colors, so we can match the look across fixtures, but the 918's extremely fast mirror movement picks up on the MACs’ slower movement. The Atomic 3000 strobes really pack the punch we need to add to the 60 amps of Par-64 Punch lights. And the Jem StageHazers give us the perfect haze to carry the lights all the way through the room.” Oxygen Sound acquires their equipment from Gear Source.
