Electrifying Image for Edelnor in Peru

2001년 10월 15일

Like most electrical companies, Peruvian electrical company Edelnor had a rather dull image. But thanks to a new marketing strategy, and a dozen Martin Exterior 600 luminaires, that image is changing.

Edelnor, which provides electricity for the northern part of the city of Lima and the northern area of the greater capital, was ready for a change and what better place to start than with your own headquarters.

Based on a new marketing strategy with an objective to position the company as a modern firm with a high level of innovation and technology, Edelnor decided to create an eye-catching exterior architectural lighting concept.

Twelve Martin Exterior 600s were installed outside of the Edelnor building in Lima to project a variety of attention-grabbing colors onto the 10-story building. Lighting control comes from a Martin PC based ProScenium, a visual DMX-512 lighting control package.

Completed earlier in the year, the project has not only helped improve the Edelnor image in the area but has been an attraction for the local people as well.

The idea, concept and impetus for the project stemmed from the creative marketing department at Edelnor. Jean Yves Laurent of Lighting Camera Sa provided lighting consultancy for the project.

Edelnor is a division of the Spanish Group ENDESA, who operate electrical concessions in Colombia, Chile, Argentina, Brazil and Peru.
