Pechanga Resort & Casino

Pechanga Resort & Casino is California’s largest hotel-casino. Owned and operated exclusively by the Pechanga Indian tribe, it is known throughout the Southern California region for its top-tier entertainment and events.

Located in the city of Temecula, headliner acts like internationally recognized R&B singer Anita Baker perform nearly every week on the Pechanga Theater’s 1,200-seat full-scale production stage. Broadway-style shows and musicals are also performed regularly.

For a recent show Shane Pritchard, in-house LD for Pechanga and Anita Baker´s personal LD, complemented Anita’s smooth sounds with lighting effects from a MAC rig of 12 MAC 2000 Profiles, 12 MAC 500 profile spots and 12 MAC 600 washlights, along with conventional fixtures.

A clean stage setup was dressed in breakup pattern from MAC 2000 Profiles onto a backdrop curtain with MAC 600 color onto the curtain and stage floor. Combined with a pair of stylish chandeliers, Shane’s elegant looks suited the star ideally.

The tribal enterprise is a major source of funding for new economic development and marks the return of an economic foundation upon which they can build a better life for their people.
