Rojam club in Shanghai

1999년 08월 27일

Packed full of modern lighting supplied by Martin distributor Sanecore including Martin MAC 250, 500 and 600s, PAL 1200 FXs, Pro 1220 RPRs, Pro 518 and 918 scanners, Pro 400s and over 130 RoboColor IIIs, Rojam is a well-thought-out club in which no expense was spared.

The lighting effects are nothing short of impressive, the creative lighting design courtesy of Steve Rawlins evident throughout the venue. The huge number of RoboColor III and Pro 400 color changers for example are built into the steel columns that line the length of the club and allow the venue to change color by washing the entire height with color.

The venue in fact consists of two dance clubs, 11 KTV rooms, restaurant, lounge, VIP room and Playstation area. Lighting control comes via a Case Pro II 512 channel controller and a Martin 3032 controller. Smoke effect comes courtesy of nearly the entire range of Jem smoke machines.

A launch pad for new music in Asia, Rojam features heavy use of brushed steel and industrial design features such as air conditioning ducting. The main room is a huge pillared cavern with bars emanating around it, and more secluded bars on the second floor in glass with enclosed balconies overlooking the central area.

The venue’s second dance club, Club Jam, boasts Martin Pro 518s, RoboColor IIIs, Starflashes and Destroyers with fibre optic cable all controlled by a 3032 controller with effects from a Jem Techno Haze. All equipment for both clubs supplied by Martin´s Chinese distributor Sanecore.
