Club Zalinaz Wows the Crowd with Mania SCX500 Matrix

Zalinaz is a 1500 capacity industrial style club located in Etten-Leur, in the southern part of The Netherlands. The club opened in the fall of 2005 and offers a clubbing experience that is unique in many respects – top of the line entertainment systems for example, including a Martin lighting package - but one aspect particularly stands out.

Behind the club’s main stage is an attention grabbing grid made up of 44 Martin Mania SCX500 scanners. The 11 x 4 SCX500 grid is a crowd favorite, used to display a multitude of unique matrix effects and useful for special events such as a backdrop for fashion shows. The Mania grid is controlled by a Matrix controller, Martin’s easy to program system dedicated to controlling fixtures mounted in a matrix arrangement.

Other Martin gear in the club includes 8 MAC 250 Krypton profile spots, 4 MAC 550 profiles, MX-4 scanners, and 4 Atomic 3000 strobes controlled via a LightJockey with touchscreen. A 4-head Jem Club Smoke system keeps the club appropriately hazed.
