Germany’s Cinetower Kinopark Alsdorf Offers Unique Movie Experience

Movie theater complex Cinetower Kinopark in Alsdorf, Germany offers something that no other cinema in Germany can.

As the house lights fade and the audience sits in eager anticipation of the main feature film, two bright pyrotechnic explosions signal the start of a multi-media show that includes the use of Martin Professional intelligent lighting.

Six Martin MAC 250s, 1 PAL 1200 and a RoboScan Pro 918 are used in a 10-minute multi-media show that features high technology Martin lighting combined with seat shaking surround sound. Multiple Martin SwitchPacks are used to co-ordinate the precise timing of the film projector, auditorium lighting and the curtain during the show.

The Pink Noise Company created and installed the impressive pre-movie spectacle, which is totally automated and runs by the press of a button.

Germany’s largest cinema screen, located in Alsdorf at the Cinetower Aachen, also features a unique lighting and sound multi-media opening.
