Mach Sound Experience at Central Florida Clubs

Arizona-based Enterplex has recently opened two of the leading nightclubs in Orlando, Metropolis and Matrix, each distinctive in personality and ambiance.

Both venues are Martin Professional Total Club Supplier installations housing extraordinary Mach speaker systems supplied and installed by Sound Stage Systems of New Haven, CT.

Described as a mix between New York, LA and Miami, Metropolis and Matrix are being hailed as Orlando’s hottest new social scene, an “escape into the surreal” and the place to be for those who crave a more sophisticated nightclub atmosphere. Both venues opened in September 2001 to rave reviews.

Distinctive sound atmospheres

Matrix is an industrially designed club that boasts not only Orlando’s largest dance floor but an elaborate sound and light system as well, arguably one of the most impressive systems in Florida. In contrast to Matrix, Metropolis is an ornately decorated club with a rich velvety décor designed to attract a more upscale crowd.

Both clubs feature powerful Mach sound reinforcement systems. A different system has been installed in each club in order to further distinguish the two environments.

Matrix

Matrix houses twelve Mach M156i two-way, medium-throw, top box speakers and six Mach M182T double 18" subwoofers while a Mach M125i serves as a DJ monitor in the DJ booth. In the bar and lounge area four compact Mach M82i 2-way near field speakers deliver the sound. In the lobby two Mach M68i compact 2-way, near field speakers deliver the musical punch while twelve Mach MIW62 2-way ceiling panel speakers have been discreetly placed in the restrooms.

Metropolis

Metropolis houses eight Mach M129i 2-way medium throw top boxes matched with four M182i subwoofers with a Mach M125i serving as the DJ monitor in the DJ booth. In the billiard and lounge area seven Mach M82i compact 2-way near field top boxes deliver the sound. In the bar area are four Mach M68i compact 2-way near field speakers. Like Matrix, the restrooms are equipped with twelve Mach MIW62 2-way ceiling panel speakers.

Both venues can accommodate groups of up to 3,000 guests for a variety of functions. In fact, the clubs hosted Martin Professional’s evening events during the LDI exhibition. Both clubs are conveniently located near the Orange County Convention Center.
