Millennium Roller Coaster illuminated in Skegness

The breathtaking ride is Europe´s biggest looping roller coaster and the first European coaster to be designed to circumnavigate a building. The Exterior 600s were mounted on a rooftop approximately 25 meters from the ride with lighting design provided by Chris Hale.

Exterior 600s were also used to illuminate another of the park’s popular hair-raising attractions, a thrill ride called Volcanic Eruption.

Hurtling 150 feet above the landscape at speeds of up to 90 kph, the Millennium Roller Coaster twists and turns around a mystical glass and metallic pyramid structure surrounded by a myriad of Polynesian buildings.

The 15 million pounds sterling coaster officially opened with a huge ceremony last year while an even larger 27 million pounds sterling coaster is to be built soon.
