Martin’s Maxxyz console takes control of “Diggiloo”

One of Swedens biggest tour, Diggiloo, stopping at 18 locations around Sweden is now controlled by Martin’s Maxxyz console. The show is designed by award winning Swedish Lighting Designer Palle Palmé. Palle specified the Martin Maxxyz control system for the show because of the fast programming abilities, superb effect generator and the very stable console. The show also contains a large stock of Martin moving heads (Mac 250Wash and Mac300) chosen for their extremely bright output, compact size, good visual look on stage and their extremely high reliability. The high reliability was a very big matter because of the tight schedule and long travelling distances between the arenas.

The year 2007 has been a really good one for Diggiloo, being one of the best selling summer tours in Sweden this year. The show consists of eleven of Sweden’s most beloved artists performing not only their own music but everything from musicals, rock n' roll, sing-a-longs to disco and stand-up comedy in a three hour long show with numerous hit-medleys.

Palle Palmé
Les Miserables, The Wizard of Oz, The Phantom of the Opera, Annie, West Side Story, Jesus Christ Superstar and Grease is just a small selection of the Musicals and Operas that Palle has been working on over the past years. Palle is one of the most famous lighting designers in Sweden and has been working around the world with various projects, everything from musicals, theatre, shows, television and special events. Palle is also the winner of the Golden Mask 2007.

United Audio Starlight stocks up on Martin Mac’s + Maxxyz
As winner of the contract on ”Sound of Music” with lighting design by LD Palle Palmé, UAS has acquired 26 x Mac 700 Profile, 12 x Mac TW1, 1 x Maxxyz with Wing and 1 x Maxxyz PC. The show will be programmed on the Maxxyz console by Palle himself and operated via the Maxxyz PC.
