Sound Academy, Sound quality – Sounds good!

The popular club boasts a capacity of 650 and all equipment in the venue is absolutely state-of-the-art. The advanced club is located on a new site - no renovations, redesigns or recyclings here. Sound Academy boasts the best interior equipment and design elements available keeping in line with their desire to be the best.

The club chose a Mach Speakers sound system installing 8 MS1262 compact high performance mid/high boxes and 16 MS118 compact high performance subwoofers located downstairs with 4 MS1262’s, 8 MS118’s and 2 M125i Installation Series topboxes upstairs. Four M68i Installation Series In-Fill speakers are located on the stairs with 8 MIW62i In-Fills discreetly placed in the bathrooms and reception areas.

Owners requested a demo of the Mach sound system and were immediately won over by the very efficient, high quality system. The system shows a flexibility to match the versatility of the club itself. Different areas of the club highlight different musical tastes, and the club is very responsive to the mood of its clientel on any particular evening, so the owners were looking for a system that could do more than just punch out hard driving rock and dance tunes.

The club’s interior design features an industrial look, an "unfinished" style with exposed metal that is so popular in modern clubs today. As an element of this look, the Mach speakers are "on show" and visible at all times.

The club has instigated a unique membership scheme in which customers do not have to worry about carrying cash - special club cards debit directly out of each member’s own bank account! The system has proved popular, as has the design and look of the club itself. The club currently has over 6000 members.

Keeping in line with the "quality first" theme, club owners have installed a series of Martin MAC 250 moving heads and Pro 918 Scanners as well.
