Instructions:

  • Download and extract the software package
  • Place it on a USB memory device and plug that into the P3 System Controller
  • On the P3 System Controller, go to Hardware Setting -> Firmware to start the update

New Features & Improvements:

  • Support for fixtures with free pixel layout such as MAC Allure Profile and VDO Atomic Dot
  • Support for fixtures with multiple layers such as VDO Atomic Dot
  • Support for full DMX controls (all parameters) of fixtures such as MAC Allure Profile and VDO Atomic Dot
  • Renamed legacy DMX control modes
  • Support for P3 Mix channel on fixtures such as MAC Allure Profile and VDO Atomic Dot

Bug fixes:

  • Video Input Wizard sometimes fails to cover all fixtures
  • Webpage automatically scrolls up on refresh
  • P3 Master-Backup setup working again
  • Testpatterns not shown on fixtures in offline view modes
  • Refresh glitch in light controls patch
  • Video input view not rendering testpatterns on some fixtures

Known issues:

  • Displaying testpattern on VDO Face 5 sometimes leaves a few pixels black (can be fixed by giving it another number)
  • Toggle Fixture/Device Selection Keyboard shortcut broken on P3-050/100/150/200/300

Warnings:

  • Please update EC-10 panels to firmware 3.0.0, using a P3-100/200/PC running 3.1.1 or newer, BEFORE connecting them to the P3-050/150/300
  • Please update EC-20 panels to firmware 3.0.0, using a P3-100/200/PC running 3.1.1 or newer, BEFORE connecting them to the P3-050/150/300
  • Please update P3 PowerPort 1500's to firmware 1.2.1 or newer, using a P3-100/200/PC running 3.1.1 or newer, BEFORE connecting them to the P3-050/150/300
