Instructions

Download and unpack the software package.
Also download the latest corresponding Personality and Firmware Update Package and unpack it.
Place both on a USB memory device and plug that into the P3 System Controller.
On the P3 System Controller, close the open showfile (File -> Close).
On the P3 System Controller, go to Settings -> Device & Firmware Library -> User Library and delete any previously user-imported personality files from the Library at the bottom.
On the P3 System Controller, go to Settings -> Hardware Settings -> System -> Software -> Reload to start the update.
Once the update has completed, import the new Personality and Firmware Update Package via the Device & Firmware Library.

New Features & Improvements

P3 can now run in 3 different network topologies:
- No DMX: P3 fixtures behaving as pure video elements without a DMX controller in the system.
- DMX via P3: P3 fixtures running on an isolated network where the P3 System Controller merges the incoming DMX controls.
- DMX alongside P3: P3 fixtures running on a merged network that also runs Art-Net or sACN.
Fixtures and Groups can now be hidden on the workspace.
Clock added to main screens on P3-050/150/175/275/300 System Controller.
Can now import MVR file with fixtures not (yet) patched to a DMX Mode.
P3 System Controller can upload firmware to "empty mainboard" that is in "Device Rescue" mode.
P3 System Controller now cleans up User Library during software upgrade.
Updated Keyboard Shortcuts.

Bug Fixes

Fixed Grouping and Ungrouping of fixtures disabling DMX controls.
Presets no longer triggering Device Settings from a different preset.
Undo on Device Settings Preset no longer re-triggering it.
Fixed sporadic 180 degree rotation error on MVR Import.
Fixed sporadic rotation rounding errors on MVR Import.
Fixed sporadic incorrect lens position offset during MVR Import and MVR Export.
MVR Import and MVR Export no longer apply lens offset when using Top or Bottom projection mode.
MVR Import now handles import of fixtures without patch correctly (only import position and rotation).
MVR Import now notifies user when non-supported fixtures are patched across universe borders.
P3-050/150/300 do now follow Highlight Colour selection for fixtures on the workspace.
P3-050/150/300 do now support DMX control of Exterior Dot-1/4/9 Pro.
P3-050/150/300 do now support MAC Aura Raven XIP in Ludicrous and Plaid DMX Mode.
P3-050/150/300 do now support splitting of fixtures across multiple DMX Universes.
Startup now informs user about incompatible MartinFixture files in the library instead of hanging.
Improved DisplayPort implementation on P3-050/150/300.
Various minor fixes and improvements.

Known Issues

MVR Import/Export is disabled in 1:1 shows.
Displaying testpattern on VDO Face 5 sometimes leaves a few pixels black (can be fixed by giving it another Number).
P3-050/150/175/275/300 will only access first partition on a multi-partition USB memory device.
P3-050/150/175/275/300 do not support USB memory device partitions larger than 32GB.

Unsupported Features

P3-050/150/300 do not output the P3 Visualizer Protocol to 3rd Party Visualizers (this feature is only available on P3-175/275/PC).

Warnings

Please update EC-10 and EC-20 panels to firmware 3.0.0, using a P3-175/275/PC running 3.1.1 or newer, BEFORE connecting them to a P3-050/150/300.
Please update P3 PowerPort 1500's to firmware 1.2.1 or newer, using a P3-175/275/PC running 3.1.1 or newer, BEFORE connecting them to a P3-050/150/300.
