Creamfields Buenos Aires

February 20, 2003

The popular Creamfields dance festival made its way to Argentina in late 2002. Featuring some of the world’s top DJs and dance music to suit most tastes, Creamfields Buenos Aires was a massive event featuring five tents and an outdoor stage. Some 23,000 people packed into a variety of dance areas making it the largest dance festival in South America in 2002.

Lighting technician and operator Ignacio Rosenberg handled a variety of Martin gear at the Chill-out tent, some 70 MACs in total, including MAC 600, 500, 300, and 250 moving heads. Martin Exterior 200s and MiniMAC Profiles were also incorporated into the rig with a Magnum Pro 2000 smoke machine providing the mid-air projection canopy. All Martin lighting was run from a pair of PC-based LightJockey controllers.

Lighting gear for Creamfields was provided by Buenos Aires Live Show and Martin Pro Shop.
