Nachtschicht (Night Shift), a new club in the newly built City Center Park in downtown Nuremberg, Germany, opened March 11th with a spectacular opening show that included dazzling effects from a freshly installed Martin MAC, Mania and RGB laser system.

After managers Oliver Blank and Raimund Müller officially opened the club before 1,000 special guests and VIPs, the club’s 4 smartMACs™, 6 MAC 250 Kryptons™, 14 Mania SCX700™ scanners, 6 Mania SCX600™ scanners, 4 Mania EFX500™ effect lights and RGB Laser 1.6™ sprang into action as part of a grand interplay of light, video and sound.

The club has a well thought out and stylish interior design that comprises three distinct areas: the elegant disco Prestige, which features an LED ceiling, special chandeliers and sophisticated Martin lighting system; the cocktail bar La Vie, especially popular with smokers; and another dance area, Mousetrap, with real wood beams and Alpine environment complete with classic hits and disco ball, which, according to Raimund Müller, “shows that we have a heart for the older audience.”

At the opening, all three areas of the club were reportedly hopping until the early hours of the morning. All technical equipment for Nachtschicht was installed by the team at sld-mediatec.
