Sweden’s 'Teddybears Stockholm' and MAC 2000 climbing the charts

November 03, 2000

With their third album "Rock´n Roll Highschool," as well as videos played frequently on MTV, musical group Teddybears Stockholm are climbing the charts both in home country Sweden and abroad.

They aren’t the only chart-climbers on the tour however.

The popular band recently toured Sweden under a rig complete with Martin Professional’s recently launched award-winning profile spot, the MAC 2000. The recent Teddybears tour was the first time the MAC 2000 had been used in Sweden.

Young Swedish lighting designer Marcus Persson incorporated 4 of the new MAC 2000’s into the show. The show was controlled by a Martin Case 1+ controller. All Martin gear was supplied by Wibban Production of Uppsala, Sweden through Martin’s Swedish distributor Oscar Lighting (Eurovision 2000 lighting supplier).

The Teddybears’ latest album is something completely different from what the band has previously produced. The tough hardcore sound of their previous work has been replaced by a more broad-based, and seemingly more popular, rhythm.
