It is possible to use a Bluetooth keyboard with the M6 console. A USB Bluetooth adapter has to be provided by the user. M6 offers many USB ports on the back of the console that allow the adapter to stay connected.
M6 contains drivers for the Broadcom BCM20702 chip which is found in many brand and generic USB adapters.
The following USB adapters have been tested. Other devices with the same chip should work immediately as well. M6 does not support installation of user supplied drivers, so it is important to use the recommended USB Bluetooth adapters.
- Kensington Bluetooth 2.1 USB Micro Adapter K33902US or K33902EU
- IOGEAR GBU521
- SITECOM CN-516
- Trust 18187
- Planex BT Micro 3e2x
- ASUS USB-BT400
Not tested but uses supported Broadcom Chip:
Keyboards:
- Logitech K810 (illuminated)
- Apple Wireless Keyboard
- Microsoft Wedge Keyboard
- Buffalo BSKBB06
- AZIO Wireless Mini Keyboard 334B
- Most generic Windows Bluetooth keyboards should work.
If other keyboards or adapters work please email controllersupport@martin.dk so we can add them to this list.
