Martin DMX 5.3 Splitter er den mest økonomiske beskyttelse for DMX-controllere og -enheder. Hovedformålet med Martin 5.3 Splitter er at opretholde korrekt dataoverførsel over lange eller flere DMX-signalstræk. Splitteren forstærker det svage DMX-signal til sit oprindelige udgangsniveau, før det bliver for lavt til at blive læst af DMX-enheder. Forstyrrelser af DMX skyldes ofte dårlige kabler eller dårlige forbindelser. Martin DMX 5.3 Splitter hjælper med at korrigere signalet.
